I was faced with becoming a single mother even though I was not really in a good financial position. With the tenacity of a mama lion, I became a highly competitive scholar earning a ride to UC Berkeley, 37 awards in leadership, & 2 college degrees. Yay! But...

After I graduated, to my surprise, I still couldn't find a job that felt right or even a salary that could cover childcare costs!
